THE Running Race....!!!

Well yesterday was children's day so i thought of writing a childhood memory of mine tat happened on children's day wen i was in 5th Grade....! :-)

While in all Schools they organize competitions on children's day, our school was no less exception.There were many different competitions like singing,drawing,throw ball n all... N i decided to go for RUNNING RACE...

The Race was ON... and " I WON".... I came 1st , i was pretty excited coz this was the 1st time ever that i had won something... n wen the PT Teacher who conducted the race called out the names of the winners , i was shocked to hear that i came 2nd when clearly everyone knew n saw that i came FIRST.....!!! Well i was very reserved n silent kindda student... I was scared to talk to the teacher about i coming 1st in the race.. So i came back... After some time wen we came back to our class rooms, all my friends n class mates started forcing me to go to the PT MASTER n talk to him... So i took a couple of friends with me to talk...N then the teacher realised he had done a mistake [ i could see that in his eyes... ] Even so, he dint give me my 1st place...He shut us UP n sent us back... :-(( Awwww.... how awful is that....!!)

And the best part of the story...!! Wen i got my prize i got to know that the 1st prize was jus a small box while i got a POCKET DICTIONARY..... ! :-) ( which lasted for many years..)

Moral of the story :Everyone Gets What they DESERVE...!!
