My best friend and The BIKE RIDE..!!

Hey!

My best friend was in town a couple of days back.. I got invited by her for lunch. I was really excited to meet her coz it had been a long time since we had a lil chat… Though we speak on phone, but its different when u meet up in person.

I was already running late and when I got down to leave I found out that my bike was punctured and I had to take my dad s bike instead..

My dad s got this bike which is like a “vintage piece” which is like 15yrs old.. Ya! who would keep a bike that long…?

Its Seats are torn out ~ Tilted mirrors~ donno if the head light is even working ~ Side stand is out of place, its so hard that it gets stuck and  –the vehicle almost fell on me once…. Not to our surprise  we can operate this bike with any RANDOM key in the world… Its literally on the verge of becoming a piece of “JUNK” officially…. Its only used as a backup vehicle…

Its so embarrassing to RIDE that “siily BIKE”.. DAD! Just sell it already!!! J

SO I had to take that out…. I reached my friends place. I had lunch.. talked to her .. and played wit her daughter too.. her daughter is very cute… She s gonna be 2yrs old next month….. She has just started talking. Her mother always asks her to call me “maasi” .. she trys to say it but just mutters something in her baby language….!! J

Then we decided to go out for some time.. Our ride with that “CRAPPY BIKE” was a kindda like a “roller coaster ride”.. Seriously.. !! and my friend sitting behind me was so scared to ride with me.. that I was gonna “crash“ or something..

But this was not just this time.. She s always like very scared to sit with me and she's always like “ Hey! Go slowly.. Go slowly..” and she s like “OMG wait there s a car coming .. slow down.. and move towards the side n all.. “ J Well! I can’t blame her for saying all this..  I’ll tell u why…..

When I was in 11^th I had just started off “to ride a bike”.. and was still learning.. N she was my partner in crime all the time. We used to go out everywhere together.  All my first time experiences on a bike were with her… while riding I used to loose my balance n FALL OFF most of the time......

I have made her FALL off the bike quite a few times and had some close call mini lil accidents with her..... Hahaha.. those where some FUN! Days….

I think for this reason she started to grow a lil fear to go on bike rides... And its not only me but seems her HUSBAND also says that “she gets paranoid”, so her husband always asks her –"to just sit back and not talk” Hahaha…

But really I have learned it the hard way.. !! When I think about it now, that falling off the BIKE, Hitting the ground hard, people staring at u when u get up… All that makes me laugh.. hahaha.. Really it was a really good Learning experience for me….

Nways it was a really good time catching up with her... I had a GREAT time.. J

1. I am currently obsessed with BLOG READING… I just read too many these days..

2. Today I am SUPER HUNGRY!!! because, I skipped breakfast and had a very small LUNCH!!.. .

3. The age I am is I don wanna say it, but u know it… and the age I feel is 18.. Actually! I wanna feel like am still 18.. I wanna feel like a teenager all over again.. Remember how fun it was, No thinking, No responsibilities, do things u enjoyed!!

4. My favorite place is my FRIEND’s place.. I like hanging out at her place all day long….

5. Something I have been procrastinating is Join SWIMMING Classes… Have been thinking about it for a long time now.. I donno how to swim and I feel like I seriously wanna learn it..

6. The last thing I purchased was a BIG and HUGE teddy bear… not for me!! J

7. The thing I love most about my home is everything!!..! I think of it as the happiest and the most peaceful place… Specially my ROOM!!..!! really very attached to it….

1. What is your favorite food in the world?

I really like comfort food.. Any kind of Sandwiches and Burgers will do..!!

2. If you have any pets what are their names?
I don’t have any pets! But I do have a DOG in FARMVILLE!( if that even counts) Its name is “ARCHIE” hahaha..!! J

3. What do you do to protect the earth?
Not enough. This is something I really should work on.

4. Ten people you would invite to a dinner party in a forest?
Probably some of my class mates and close relatives!! Cant name them all.. Although I donno who all would turn up in a “FOREST” at night J

5. Tell me something nice you did for someone recently?
Hmm… Recently my cousin borrowed a dress from me, she came back n showed me how she looked in it... She loved it so much that I asked her to keep the dress for herself n not return back.! :-)

6. What is one thing you do that is childlike?
Haha.. this is funny.. I just recently realised that while climbing down the stairs I usually try and HOP over the last two or three stairs at my house…!! J

7. What is one of the most embarrassing moments of your life?
Embarrassing moments are very embarrassing! I cant even talk about it.!

8. If you could take an all expenses paid trip anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Probably PARIS! Coz I wanna see the EIFFEL TOWER.. J

9. What is your favorite thing to do to relax?

Watch a MOVIE I guess!

10. What is the most spontaneous thing you have ever done?

This is probably not the most spontaneous thing, but is the most recent spontaneous thing I've done... I stopped a Passer-by women ,out of nowhere and asked her where she got her dress from and complimented her.. she was so happy..!! (This is one spontaneous thing, coz I would never do that n I don’t talk to strangers)

11. What is your favorite movie of all time?

The Proposal and KKHH ..

12. If you had a chance to meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?
I would like to meet BRAD PITT for obvious reasons ofcourse…!!! J

SUNDAY Delights

CHOCOLATE CHIP VANILLA Cupcakes

Ya.. I know … I know.. I am like a crazy CUPCAKE lover..!! Though am still learning, everyone by now know that I LOVE BAKING! And bake a lotta CupCakes..!! J

My cute lil COUSIN who’s just like “11yrs” old came over to my place yesterday and asked me to teach her to bake. Wow!! Isn’t it GREAT for a 11yr OLD..!! J And she was so excited and EAGER to learn. I was delighted to teach her too..! J

She got all the ingredients by herself... Check out how we made it..!! J

For all you people who wanted me to share the "RECIPE!!"

First step : Get all your ingredients ready before u get started.!

Butter : 150gms

Flour: 175gms

3 eggs

2tsp Vanilla essence and 3/4 tsp Baking Powder

Sugar: 175gms

Next : soft the butter

Then whisk in the sugar..

Beat 3 eggs into it..

{My cousin was so excited to break the eggs. She said she was doing it for the first time.. n was so joyful in the act..!! :-)}

Combine together "Flour and Baking powder" and "Vanilla essence" and half cup "MILK"

Last step: Add in some "Chocolate CHIPS"

Spoon into a muffin tin lined with 12 cupcake cases.

Bake at 180 C for 22 mins ... Tada! here they are..!! :-)

Do the ICING and Add some "SPRINKLES" over

I have made this recipe numerous times and it never fails. Hope this helps..

i got a TREAT... A birthday Cake that is..!!!

Hey! u Guys..!!!

I Got a treat from my AUNT yesterday! She baked me a "BIRTHDAY CAKE"... i know it was 2 days back, but its never too late! RIGHT!!...!! :-)

My Aunt, she's a "GREAT" Cook. And she makes the most DELICIOUS and the YUMMIEST CAKES..!!

I LOVE "BAKING...!"

I too bake some cakes. Baking is the only thing i love about "Cooking" .. Hahaha..!! :-)

Since u guys LOVE my PICS and like my Photography... here's to U..!! :-) Dont blame me for positng, u asked for it..!! !!! Hehehe... :-)

It was just Heavenly!!

Chocolate chip Cake with fresh cream frosting.. topped with Sprinklers, Kiwi and Cherries!!

The cream was still melting coz it was freshly BAKED!!

This piece was Specially for me..!!

I wished for a "Fresh Blackberry Syrup atop"

HEY!!!

The TV show/website that I watch/read that I would be embarrassed to tell anyone about is not an embarrassing answer of me either, I am a GREAT fan of “GOSSIP GIRL” and I just keep logging in to its “FANATIC site “ to check out the latest news..!! I absolutely LOVE the show and I hope it will keep going for a long long time!!!!

2. An item of clothing that is worn and torn but that I love far to much to throw away is I have this “SWEATER “ from my high school days that is absolutely torn apart.. but I refuse to throw it coz it was my “FAV” and have many fond memories wit it..!!

3. My grocery store impulse buy is Pepsi and a PACK of LAYS!!! J

4. Something I do at work to pass time that I wouldn't want my co-workers to know about is I don’t work … but I am logged into FACEBOOK 24x7 and am a FARMVILLE freak.. Its just one way of passing my time!! J

5. One thing in my life that I could give up, but never will is that am a BIG FAT “SHOPOHOLIC”… I can’t think of giving it up.! J It makes me so HAPPY..!! But I must say “I Only buy VALUABLE things” J

6. A little indulgence that (a) I have a very EXPENSIVE indulgence, I buy a lot of books, Magazines to say the least. I try to cut back , use the library at times..! (b) I LOVE Cushions!!!! I buy tons of it..!!

7. The junk drawer/area in my house is if ur in my room then u’ll know that there s a BIG box of “JUNK FOOD” right next to me on the side table..!! Can’t get enough of JUNK FOOD! I need to have them everyday!! J

Weekend Update

Salaams..

A trip to a Supermarket, Sandwich, Chicken, Blog Stalking and lots of food and so much more calories..!!!..!!!

SATURDAY :

• was a great day.. a slow day! Pretty good I can say..
• Went shopping
• Made this Paneer Manchurian

• Shopping was good but I cant say so for the “shopping bill “.. it was huge.. way more than I actually thought..
• back home.. and made Paneer for my bro
• I made an evening snack for myself too.. I made a jam n nutella sandwich..YUM!

• There was no disturbance for me to watch tv... .which was good..
• Then again I got a chance to talk with 2 of my cousins sis... we video chatted...Oh! Dear.. Please come more often..I love talking to u.... !! J

SUNDAY :

• Browsed a lot.. A lot in the sense “A LOOOooTttt”.. Stalking on BLOGS.. !! J
• When the clock striked seven.. I had a lil tooo much to eat…
• I eat like 2-3 pieces of CAKE, 2 almost full glasses of Pepsi, 1 big pack of LAYS.. COUNT on the calories.. Uff.. Uff..
• Had a very AWESOME dinner.. which included “A roasted grilled Chicken” and “ some pepsi” to gooooooo.. Couldn’t take a PIC of the Chicken it was already gone before I got my Camere ON!! Hahaha.. J
• I went to bed brushing my teeth n watching face (which I never do..!)

Fill in the BLANK

Salaam…

So I am Gonna fill up the BLANKS out here..U can do it too.. If not all, may be one or two.J

1. If my house was on fire and I could only grab 3 things I would grab My LAPTOP, Wallet and Cell Phone….!!

2. A smell I really like is the smell of a the “WET SAND” when it rains ( its YUM!! ) and the scent of my “STRABERRY SHOWER GEL”…!!...!! I just love it..! J

3. Something you might not know about me is that as dangerous as they are i am terrified ,petrified, horrified, scared of SNAKES.. Like I CANT even see them.. NOT EVEN a PIC or not even on TV…. It just creeps me out..! I cant even stand the talk of SNAKES… Ahhh… !! scary WEIRD…!!!!!

4. Some of my favorite websites to putter about on are idiva.com, facebook and twitter and Google Reader…

5. This weekend I will catch up on some blog reading, watch the shows I missed this week, some SHOPPING, Read a bit of the book, I'm reading and maybe start working out.. J

6. Nothing makes me happier than knowing that you Guys read my BLOG and POST a comment....!! J

7. A bad habit I have is staying up too late. Some people sleep late because they have INSOMNIA but I sleep late coz I have INTERNET.. !! I really should goto bed early J
