Hey!
My best friend was in town a couple of days back.. I got invited by her for lunch. I was really excited to meet her coz it had been a long time since we had a lil chat… Though we speak on phone, but its different when u meet up in person.
I was already running late and when I got down to leave I found out that my bike was punctured and I had to take my dad s bike instead..
My dad s got this bike which is like a “vintage piece” which is like 15yrs old.. Ya! who would keep a bike that long…?
Its Seats are torn out ~ Tilted mirrors~ donno if the head light is even working ~ Side stand is out of place, its so hard that it gets stuck and –the vehicle almost fell on me once…. Not to our surprise we can operate this bike with any RANDOM key in the world… Its literally on the verge of becoming a piece of “JUNK” officially…. Its only used as a backup vehicle…
Its so embarrassing to RIDE that “siily BIKE”.. DAD! Just sell it already!!! J
SO I had to take that out…. I reached my friends place. I had lunch.. talked to her .. and played wit her daughter too.. her daughter is very cute… She s gonna be 2yrs old next month….. She has just started talking. Her mother always asks her to call me “maasi” .. she trys to say it but just mutters something in her baby language….!! J

Then we decided to go out for some time.. Our ride with that “CRAPPY BIKE” was a kindda like a “roller coaster ride”.. Seriously.. !! and my friend sitting behind me was so scared to ride with me.. that I was gonna “crash“ or something..
But this was not just this time.. She s always like very scared to sit with me and she's always like “ Hey! Go slowly.. Go slowly..” and she s like “OMG wait there s a car coming .. slow down.. and move towards the side n all.. “ J Well! I can’t blame her for saying all this.. I’ll tell u why…..
When I was in 11th I had just started off “to ride a bike”.. and was still learning.. N she was my partner in crime all the time. We used to go out everywhere together. All my first time experiences on a bike were with her… while riding I used to loose my balance n FALL OFF most of the time......
I have made her FALL off the bike quite a few times and had some close call mini lil accidents with her..... Hahaha.. those where some FUN! Days….
I think for this reason she started to grow a lil fear to go on bike rides... And its not only me but seems her HUSBAND also says that “she gets paranoid”, so her husband always asks her –"to just sit back and not talk” Hahaha…
But really I have learned it the hard way.. !! When I think about it now, that falling off the BIKE, Hitting the ground hard, people staring at u when u get up… All that makes me laugh.. hahaha.. Really it was a really good Learning experience for me….
Nways it was a really good time catching up with her... I had a GREAT time.. J

Ha....Ha...Ha ...mm...
This reminds me of the first time I had taken a the "scooty" out with deda..... I went and almost hit this lady diving a maruti. And she screamed at me "IDIOT"! I got so scared and embarrassed. All the way back, I kept telling deda this is the last time I am going to be riding any vehicle on the road!!!
As you know me...... I didn't keep that particular promise :)
Hey! u know i used to ENJOY ur RIDE s a LOT....!! :-) :-) i remember we used to sneak out at nights n go on rides.. I loved the way u used to show every good building in the neighborhood.. Hahaha..!! :-)
