My EID....! :-)

hey! Salaam ...

First off....!! i know its too late to say .. but EID MUBARAK to u all...!! :-) :-)

Ever year on EID am supposed to wake up at 8 am, as am a latenight sleeper I’ll be up at 9 , and start my rounds by 9:30. After breakfast , I wait for my DAD n brothers to come back from the EIDGAH n Wish them EID MUBARAK… We still follow the same tradition of wearing a brand new outfit for EID and applying mehindis on our HAND…..[ I don’t like to brag about it, but I put amazing mehindi….. J J ]

At noon our cousins come over n we have a little chat of whose s wearing Cute dresses n whose mehindis good n all… n How can I forget we do ask EEDIS from our elders… ( although we don’t get much of it…)

We’re forced to visit like a zillion family members, cause many of them we see only twice or thrice a year…..After going to all our relatives, hugging them n wishing them, making awkward conversation, being forced to eat different sweets and snacks, our stomachs are bloated but grumbling for some real food. By that time its 8:00 pm… Every year on EID all our cousins n relatives get together go somewhere out for DINNER… This is the time where we get to order anything n everything coz we aren’t paying for that… J After that cool n awesome DINNER, we kick off our heels, and just lay down on the couch breathing out a looooooooong sigh of relief…..!! :-)

By nighttime, exhaustion kicks in, and I just flop down on the bed with a big smile on my face. Aaaaah my lovely bed!

I Definitely feel delightful n have a completely different feeling on EIDS as compared to any other usual day... !! So that’s it… That’s my Eid and I’m fond of it…..!! J

Choose to be Optimistic, it feels better....!!
