SUNDAY DINNER!!!

Today am marking off two goals in my 101 list of goals

#10: try out atleast 15new restaurants

#11:try 5 foods I have never had before

SUFI Persian Restaurant..

In event of my cousin bro’s engagement, my cousin treated us(cousins) with a “Big fat Dinner”.

We had to pick the restaurant, and after a lot of "googling" and "talking" we choose this place. Only cause we had never tasted Iranian/Persian food and also cause it was very near to our place.

We went ahead of our time, so we got our table in no time.

Our table was very cozy and comfy, like the traditional Iranian style table where you get to keep ur feet on the little couches.

The first thing that catches ur breath when u go there is the ambiance. The ambiance of this place was amazing. But I have gotta say the food and the service sucked!

FOOD!!

When we ordered the food, instead of getting the appetizers first we got the main course food which was a “GRAVY with naan”

For the appetizers we had chicken KABAABs and chicken wings.. which came without the sauces..

The chicken kabaab was good!

Our RICE and the chicken got messed up. We order for a different thing and they served us some other thing… Awesome!!! Hahaha

this plate of chicken is only thing i loved the most!

After watching a few "Master Chief epis" i can say that the presentation of the plate is not that good.. could ave been a lil better... haha :)

SERVICE!!

OMG! don’t get me started on this guys..

SO many issues.. Our order took forever to be served. Our plates were not even placed on the table. We had to ask them everything, from glasses to tissues to spoons … everything…

Overall it was not so bad experience. Atleast I gotta taste a different cuisine and had an amazing time.

Thanks everyone for the company. I got a chance to sneak away to mini IRAN.. J

:). But we had fun atleast getting bugged about the restaurant.
Like you said, the ambience was great. If the service was good and food wasn't delivered very late, I wouldn't have been so irritated.
But the company was great with you guys , so had fun!

WOW Chicken looks the best and Rice are like this only in North.
It is not an authentic persian and iranian food. There is more to it.
